Dist. Chess Championship was organized by Ludhiana Dist. Chess Association on 12th & 13th May 2018 at BCM School, Shastri Nagar.18 Students from B.V.M (USN) participated in this tournament under different age groups .The students who prove their mettle their names along with the victorious positions are as follows.
Prachi Madaan under 9 age group clinched Silver medal.
Deepti Sharma under 15 age group bagged Silver medal.
Ujjawal Joshi under 18 age group won bronze medal.
Mr. Baljeet Singh Gill (Head of Physical Education Department) was honored with trophy for promoting & motivating student for opt for chess in the school and also acquainted the students with techniques followed in the game. The B.V.M Trust and Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi lauded and appreciated the efforts of the Physical Education Dept. and congratulated the Winners for their outstanding performance.
